En-route stop to visit Fatehpur Sikri, which has been described as “the world’s most perfectly preserved ghost town.” Built by Akbar in the late 16th century, it was abandoned after only 14 years, and the elegant buildings of this superb walled city remain intact to this day. By 10:00 am you'll leave Fatehpur Sikri and continue drive to Agra which should take about one hour from Fatehpur Sikri.

Upon reaching Agra, you will meet your guide and he will take you to visit the Taj Mahal, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. A trip to Agra would not be complete without a visit to this shimmering vision of domes and minarets. The world's best-known tomb stands testimony to the timeless love story of the 17th century Mughal Emperor, Shah Jahan and his wife, Queen Mumtaz Mahal. (The Taj Mahal is closed every Friday.)

After lunch you'll visit the magnificient Agra Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Built by Emperor Akbar in 1565 A.D, this huge fort is made of red sandstone. The maze of the courtyards, mosques and private chambers of the fort echo the story of the Mughal Empire.

After exploring Agra Fort, enjoy shopping tour of Agra to explore the local handicrafts centers of the city where we can look for Agra's major handicraft items besides marble inlay work, fine quality carpets, jewelry and embroidery, brassware, leather goods, etc.

After visiting the places in Agra, you will be driven back to Jaipur, upon reaching dropped you off at your hotel or airport.
