At 6:00 AM : Jaipur to Agra
Your day will begin with a 6:00 am pickup from desired location in Jaipur and you'll enjoy a 5-hour scenic drive to Agra.
At 9:00 AM: Stop at Fatehpur Sikri
En-route stop to visit Fatehpur Sikri, which has been described as “the world’s most perfectly preserved ghost town.” Built by Akbar in the late 16th century, it was abandoned after only 14 years, and the elegant buildings of this superb walled city remain intact to this day. By 10:00 am you'll leave Fatehpur Sikri and continue drive to Agra which should take about one hour from Fatehpur Sikri.
At 10:30 AM: Visit Taj Mahal
After lunch you'll visit the magnificient Agra Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Built by Emperor Akbar in 1565 A.D, this huge fort is made of red sandstone. The maze of the courtyards, mosques and private chambers of the fort echo the story of the Mughal Empire.
At 3:00 PM: Agra Market Visit
After exploring Agra Fort, enjoy shopping tour of Agra to explore the local handicrafts centers of the city where we can look for Agra's major handicraft items besides marble inlay work, fine quality carpets, jewelry and embroidery, brassware, leather goods, etc.
At 4:30 PM: Agra to Jaipur Return
