Rajasthan is a state that celebrates the diversity of faith. Every home has its own deities, and every village boasts temples dedicated to various religions ranging from Hinduism, Islam, Jainism and more. Ancient trees are adorned with vermilion daubed stones as offerings while carved temples exalt ancient faiths. Despite their differences in belief systems, people of all faiths coexist peacefully in Rajasthan – participating in events together or creating new vocabularies for those who believe in gods and their power.
