Embark on an unforgettable journey to the Desert Triangle of Rajasthan, India and explore its cultural heritage, majestic forts, stunning palaces, and vast Thar Desert. Here’s a sample 6-day itinerary that covers Jodhpur, Jaisalmer, and Bikaner:
Upon your arrival at Jodhpur Airport/Railway Station/Bus Stand, you will be greeted by a placard-carrying driver who will transfer you to your designated hotel. In the evening, explore the Clock Tower and the local market of Jodhpur. Enjoy an overnight stay in the comfort of your hotel.
After a hearty breakfast at the hotel, take some time to explore Mehrangarh Fort. Situated on a low sandstone hill, this fort includes Moti-Mahal and Phool Mahal. Afterwards, visit Jaswant Thada - an imposing marble memoriam built in 1899 - as well as the museum located within Umaid Public Gardens. Once you're done exploring these sites, settle down for an overnight stay at your hotel in Jodhpur.
Today, you'll make the drive to Jaisalmer. Once you arrive, take some time to rest and relax before exploring the city at your leisure. Spend the night in Jaisalmer for a comfortable stay.
Spend your morning exploring the city of Jaisalmer, visiting its majestic fort, bustling bazaars, and ancient mansions known as "Havelis". These grand buildings date back to between the 12th and 15th centuries, each with exquisite carvings and filigreed work. In the evening, take a camel ride in Sum/Khuri and enjoy an authentic Rajasthani dinner at Dunes accompanied by traditional music and dance. Make sure you spend the night in Jaisalmer for maximum exploration!
Take a drive to the desert city of Bikaner, where you can explore its 16th century fort boasting old palaces, temples and a mosque. Founded by Raja Rai Singh in 1589, this majestic fort is home to 37 pavilions and an array of balconies and windows with unique designs. Inside the fort lies Joramal Temple as well as Har Mandir - the royal chapel used for celebrating royal weddings and births.
Bikaner is home to some amazing attractions, and a visit here would not be complete without exploring Junagarh Fort, Camel Breeding Farm, Ganga Government Museum, and Lalgarh Palace. Each of these locations provides an in-depth look into the history and culture that makes this city so special.
Spend the night at Bikaner before continuing your journey!
After breakfast, make your way to Delhi Airport or Train Station for your journey home. (Service Concludes).
